To tell you the truth, I thought that this was a totally different product than it is. I must have read the instructions on the bottle like 5 times trying to figure out what exactly this product does. Now I know.

I originally though that this was a Vitamin C serum–the orange colour of the packaging really threw me off. However, a Vitamin C serum this is not (however, they have just released a new serum that does contain Vitamin C).

The Booster Glow serum is actually a “golden glow booster” aka a serum that gradually makes you a little more tan. Now, if you regularly read this blog, you will know I am pretty pale–almost as fair as they come, really. So when I say that this serum imparts a subtle glow to the skin, you know I’m telling the truth.

The serum itself is uber light, scentless, and works gradually over time. You definitely need to apply this serum for a few days and nights to see effects. You won’t be like ‘woah, I look really tan’, but you will say to yourself ‘woah, I look healthy’. Your skin will look a little more even and you will definitely have a bit of that ‘golden glow’.

Now–I do exfoliate very regularly: I use my Clarisonic twice a day. So, for those who don’t exfoliate as much as I do, they might notice more of a golden appearance more quickly.

If you’re looking for a product to extend your summer tan just a little bit longer into the fall, this is one I would definitely recommend. I am not a fake tan girl myself (so this is a testament to the greatness of the product), especially on the face, however, I do like to apply this once every few days to warm up my ghostly pallor.
