Every summer, when it gets really hot, my usual small cluster of bacne starts to act up, and suddenly I have a whole row of comedones and bumps across my shoulders. The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial Wash

Combined with my near-daily yoga classes, it’s not a good mix. Sweat gets trapped underneath my yoga tops, and this exacerbates the summer bacne even more.

As you know, I’m already on Dalacin T for my face. In case you aren’t aware, DT is a topical antibiotic. It can be applied to both the face and the body. It definitely has helped my face, but I just felt that on it’s own, it needed a boost when used on my back and chest.

Enter, The Body’s Shop’s Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial Wash. My sisters also suffer from summer bacne, and Angela, my youngest sister, had heard of a few YouTubers who had recommended this cleanser. They claimed that it had quickly cleared up any body acne they had.

Intrigued, I picked up this super affordable cleanser and added it to my roster of shower products. Every time I shower, I just rub a some of the cleanser onto my upper back. Super quick and easy.

Tea Tree Oil has antibacterial properties and can be used for anything from acne to athlete’s foot. I’ve even had it in shampoo which claimed to help with scalp circulation in the winter.

In a few weeks, I’ve really noticed a difference–I’ve only got a few bumps left now on my shoulders, and at the base of my neck near the hair line (a summer high-sweat area thanks to long locks and shirt collars), and any chest bumps have totally cleared up.

Worth picking up, especially if you are a fan of other TBS products–they often have deals on in stores and online.
