Now, this might gross some of you out, but I barely shave my legs. Like, maybe every month to 6 weeks? But hear me out.

Eos Shave Cream in Lavender Jasmine and Pomegranate RaspberryMy legs just aren’t that hairy. I mean, they obviously grow hair, but the hair is very fine, and pretty light. You can only really see it once it’s reflecting in the sunlight.

So, as you can imagine, I don’t really invest a lot of money into my shave. I buy the second-cheapest razors available in a bag, and I just use water to help the razor glide along my legs. If I’m feeling fancy, I might grab Jordan’s man razor for an extra close shave.

When I received these shave creams from Eos, I realized that I had actually never used shaving cream. Ever. So really, anything I could add to my shaving situation could make it better. I also thought it was a bit weird that a lip balm company was producing shave cream, but I guess their tagline is ‘evolution of smooth’. And who really doesn’t want smooth legs?

There are three creams in the range: Lavender Jasmine, Pomegranate Raspberry and Vanilla Bliss. As you can see from the photos, I received the first two.

The first thing I immediately noticed after using the shave cream was how soft and smooth my legs were. My normally dry skin was super hydrated, and stayed so for longer. The formula is a mousse-y cream, which doesn’t foam on contact with water and contains ingredients to hydrate and brighten skin (not totally sure why my legs need brightening, but why not?). The bottle itself has a grippy, rubbery texture, making it easy to maneuver in the shower (believe me, I drop a lot while bathing).

The Pomegranate Raspberry is pretty darn sweet–a bit too much for me if I’m honest. However, the Lavender Jasmine is wonderful and fresh-smelling. Definitely my pick.

At around $6, it’s an affordable luxury, and for me, not a necessity, but for those with thicker, stubblier hair, I could definitely see this taking a place in your shower. Plus, if you’re lazy like I am, you can forgo the extra step of moisturizing your legs once you’re out of the shower.
