I know, I know that the 70’s are back in fashion…bell bottoms, fringe, bangs, straight hair and all that. But Dior is deeming tie dye chic again? Well…alright.
Since Dior is always so generous in their product samples, the reviews always result in one monster post. This time, I’m going to break it up into chunks a bit more, so that there is more focus on each product. You might have already seen the first installment on Dior’s new Eye Reviver Palette.
Pink Sunrise and Coral Sunset, from the Nude Tan range, best emulate this season’s tie dye theme, creating gorgeous palettes in a more subtle sandy-rose and a bright peachy-apricot. Tie dye or not, these are great blushes to have in any collection.
Each palette has four shades fused together with little to no glitter or iridescence and both are quite pigmented.
Coral Sunset is my favourite of the two–it creates a super pretty, fresh and sunny colour that lights up the face. Paired with the lighter shades in the new (soon to be reviewed) Ambre Nuit palette, it creates a flawless day look. In the press notes, it mentions that CS is meant for playing up tan skins, but I think it looks just as pretty on fairer complexions. Pink Sunrise is also beautiful, and creates a great rosy hue. This would be a great basic for any collection.
