NEWS // BACKSTAGE AT CHANEL PARIS-SALZBURG MÉTIERS D’ART

If you’re on Twitter at all, you’ve probably seen something about the new Chanel short film, Reincarnation, featuring Cara Delevingne, Pharell…and, oh ya, the new Métiers d’Art collection.

The presentation was held last week in Salzburg at the Schloss Leopoldskron. Coco Chanel was supposedly inspired by a lift boy’s jacket when travelling near the city.

For the show, the makeup artists created a delicate, doll-like look–a pale pink lip, a porcelain complexion, a lightly flushed cheek and light, smoky eye with a golden touch.

Following the trend of the Spring/Summer 2015 runways, hair was left soft and natural, only pulling back the front and centre piece of the hair.

The girls looked as if they belonged in the nutcracker with their embellished clothing and military jackets.
