There’s a new BB on the scene…Estée Lauder’s Double Wear All-Day Glow.

Riffing off of their beloved foundation, Double Wear, they have now translated their long-lasting formula into a long-wearing BB.

I personally, absolutely hate wearing foundation on a day-to-day basis, and wear tinted moisturizer everyday unless I am going to a big event–so I want what I’m using to be pigmented and long-wearing. I just hate the feeling of something covering up my skin, so this is right up my alley.

I was a bit skeptical at first that this product would be thick like their Double Wear (it does what it says though) and not very breathable–the consistency of this BB was already thicker than my usual Dior Hydralife–but it actually feels very light on the skin, much like my tinted moisturizer.

It is very creamy, and does require a fair amount of the product to cover your whole face. However, it is pigmented enough to give good coverage and leaves a healthy, luminous finish.

The cream is infused with the healing and correcting powers of Vitamins E and C–I cannot attest to these working as I haven’t used them long enough–and of course, SPF 30.

I still needed powder for my nose in the afternoon, but this is normal for me. It looks like skin while perfecting and evening so it works for me. There are several shades available which is actually unusual for BB’s (normally they come in 1 or 2 shades),  My only gripe is that you do need more of the product and the bottle is small and quite expensive (Dior = 1.7 oz for $45.00, Estée = 1 oz for $45.00). But! The Dior only comes in two shades.

So: if you need a bigger shade range and a long-wearing, pigmented tinted moisturizer, this is your gal!
