Last week, Anna and I were so lucky to have been invited by Lancome to enjoy a few days’ worth of festivites (and amazing swag) to celebrate the launch of their line with Alber Elbaz, as well as the Rôses by… & 20 bloggers for a rose exhibits.

The first night was an intimate dinner with other prominent bloggers from the Toronto area. Here we were presented with an amazing pop-up book featuring Alber’s illustrations, as well as items from the new collection. They also had a fun photobooth area where we could make short videos with Alber to make mini flipbooks.
The second night was a cocktail party (where we got to meet spokesmodel for Lancôme, Daria Werbowy (!!!))for the reveal of the Rôses by… exhibit where we saw interpretations of Lancôme’s iconic rose by 20 fashion photographers from around the world. To run parallel to this event, which will be running for the duration of the Luminato festival, 20 bloggers from Toronto were asked to create their own photos inspired by the rose. Anna and I were so honored to be part of this group, and you can see our photo in the virtual gallery in David Pecaut square. All you need to do is download the app (which GPS component that will only allow you to view the photos in the square. Downloading the app also gives you a chance to win a $500 prize!)!

We want to share our Lancôme love with you! We will be giving away a pair of the Lancôme x Alber Elbaz fake eyelashes! The set comes in a beautiful box exclusive to the collection that features the adorable packaging and a tube of eyelash glue. We are told that these eyelashes can be used more than once with the proper care.

The Luminato Festival runs from June 14th to the 23rd.
